Enter the Salon de Lumière and surround yourself with works in light as contemporary artists pay homage to Man Ray, the original ‘Master of Light’. Be engulfed by Chris Levine’s incandescent, bespoke light installation and discuss Susan Aldworth’s striking lenticular prints, which capture flashes of light in the brain, with the artist herself.
Take inspiration from Man Ray’s iconic fashion images and experiment with light and shade in drawing workshops. Discover the new technologies which shed light on historic portraits with curator Charlotte Bolland. Find out about innovators and masters of light within the Collection on a spotlight tour, strike a pose for a surreal group photo shoot or simply relax at the bar and enjoy a live 1920s inspired jazz performance.
